The name of Shand UK has been closely associated with the manufacture of Built-in hose couplings for over 30 years and we are probably the most experienced manufacturer of this type of coupling in the world today.

Shand UK predominantly manufacture OCIMF specification couplings for offshore oil transfer floating, submarine and catenary hoses. In addition, we also manufacture built-in couplings for oil suction/discharge, dredge, LPG or other industrial applications in the size range 2” to 48” nominal bore.

Our manufacturing capability also includes ancillary equipment for mono-buoy and other transfer systems, including Y-pieces, concentric and eccentric reducers, spool pieces, blanking / test plates and blind flanges.

Shand UK use only certified materials traceable to source which, together with our in-house NDE facilities including radiography, magnetic particle, dye penetrant, ultra-sonic and hydro testing, guarantee product integrity.

All welding operations are performed by skilled personnel who are coded to procedures in accordance with European and US standards.
